"Best in the West" is a voir dire competition between the law schools in Washington and Oregon. This year's competition will be hosted at Seattle University.

    We need the following volunteers:

    • ABOTA Coaches - we need 1 ABOTA member to team up with each Oregon law school to help coach the team. Time commitments will be determined by the ABOTA member and the law school faculty.

    • Judges - we need 4 judges to attend the competition and evaluate the teams using the provided rubrik.

    • General Staffing - we need 4-5 people to help the day of the event, including check-in, jury management, timer, and other jobs that help make the day run smoothly.
Please reach out to Nicole at nicole@or-abota.org if you are interested in helping. Travel to Seattle is required for the roles listed above.
